Description Weekend On-Call Registered Nurse, RN $70,000 - $74,000 per year, depending on experience. The Caris HealthCare Weekend OnCall Registered Nurse is scheduled to work on weekends. The RN provides nursing care to patients according to the physician's orders, assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating total patient care and nursing care plans for each patient. Resolve issues via phone when possible, but many weekend calls will require in-person visits. Be available for work-related phone calls throughout scheduled weekend hours. Phone calls should be answered unless assisting a patient or on a call with a patient/family. Qualifications Registered Nurse licensed in the state of operation. Experience in hospice or home health preferred; nursing experience required. Sound knowledge of nursing principles, procedures, and patient family teaching.
