GI Lab / Endoscopy Registered Nurse (RN)Full-Time | Monday–Friday | 8-Hour Shifts + Call | Gateway Regional Medical CenterGateway Regional Medical Center is seeking a skilled and compassionate GI Lab / Endoscopy Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Surgical Services team.This is a great opportunity for a nurse who enjoys procedural care, patient preparation and recovery, and working closely with a highly collaborative clinical team in a fast-paced specialty setting.What You'll DoIn this role, you will provide safe, high-quality nursing care for patients undergoing gastrointestinal procedures, including:Preparing patients for endoscopic and GI proceduresMonitoring patients before, during, and after proceduresAssisting physicians during diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopy proceduresEnsuring patient safety and maintaining a sterile procedural environmentAdministering medications and monitoring sedation response (per protocol)Providing patient education and discharge instructionsCollaborating with physicians, techs, and surgical services staffMaintaining accurate documentation and supporting workflow efficiencyScheduleFull -time, Monday–Friday8-hour shiftsCall requiredWhat We're Looking ForGraduate of an accredited School of Nursing (RN required)Current Illinois RN licenseCurrent BLS certification requiredGI Lab, Endoscopy, PACU, ICU, or procedural experience preferredNew graduates welcome to applyWhy Join Gateway?Competitive pay: $32.00–$48.00/hrMedical, dental, and vision insurancePaid vacation and holiday timeRetirement plan with employer matchShift differentials where applicableStable weekday scheduleSupportive, team-based procedural environmentOpportunity to grow skills in endoscopy and procedural nursingLocationGateway Regional Medical Center2100 Madison AveGranite City, IL 62040CompensationCompensation is based on education, experience, certifications, and relevant skills.
