Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct culturally sensitive, strength-based assessments for new patients and their families, identifying their unique needs and challenges.

• Offer individualized and family-focused therapy sessions, tailoring approaches based on assessments to foster effective treatment outcomes.

• Manage client documentation, including billing, treatment plans, and insurance authorizations, ensuring that all paperwork is completed reliably and within established time frames.

• Develop and implement crisis plans, safety plans, relapse prevention strategies, and wellness plans to assist clients in achieving and maintaining mental stability.

• Create safe and practical discharge plans that support clients’ ongoing mental health once they have completed therapy.
\n
• Stay informed and compliant with federal and state laws and organizational policies to ensure high standards of care.

• Engage in continuing education and training to enhance your professional skills and clinical competencies.
\n
• Participate in regular case consultations with colleagues to improve therapeutic strategies and learn from shared experiences.

• Complete all licensure renewal requirements and mandatory training sessions as part of professional development.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will work with a diverse range of clients, including individuals and families facing various mental health challenges such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and more. Qualifications\n

• Education: A Master's degree in social work, counseling, marriage and family therapy, or a related field is required, leading to licensure.

• Licensure: Must possess an active license as a Mental Health Therapist (LPC, LMFT, LCSW) in the State of Georgia.
