.NET Developer

Description

The Developer II is responsible for independently programming enhancements, gathering and documenting moderately complex requirements, resolving production issues self-reliantly, improving documentation standards, and mentoring Developer I and Junior Developers. Expected to demonstrate strong intermediate to nearing advanced technical proficiency and professional soft skills. Essential Responsibilities: Collaborate with internal and external partners to gather, document, and clarify requirements independently. Independently design algorithms, workflows, and system documentation for assigned projects. Produce efficient, high-quality code and conduct thorough testing and deployment activities. Diagnose and resolve moderate to complex production issues without supervision. Drive technical documentation for workflows, processes, and architectural changes. Lead small technical initiatives and recommend software improvements proactively. Actively mentor and review work from Developer 1 and Junior Developer team members. Demonstrate initiative in learning and applying modern development methodologies and technologies. Independently identify skill gaps and request training or resources to support professional growth and project needs. Technical Skills: Demonstrated proficiency in: ASP.Net and Dot Net Framework, C#, SQL, JavaScript, Entity Framework, and related skills. Growing proficiency in: REACT, ASP.NETCORE, Design Patterns, DevOps integration and CI/CD pipelines Core Skills: Communication skills: proficient in writing clear, concise documents and communicating with both technical and nontechnical team members Organizational skills: able to work on more than one assignment or project concurrently Analytical and critical thinking skill: able to problem solve and consider multiple angles or impacts, including future use cases Ability to adapt: able to change direction and innovate Independence: works independently and seeks help from peers and leaders as appropriate Curiosity: interested in understanding existing and emerging technology, interested in the business benefit and purpose of solutions Requirements: Education: Bachelors Degree in relevant field or equivalent work experience Experience: 5-8 years developing in listed technology.

This is a Contract position based out of Philadelphia, PA.

The pay range for this position is $40.00 - $55.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
