Position Details Status: Full Time Facility: Mease Countryside Life Management Location: New Port Richey, FL Hours: Mon–Thur 10‑7, Fri 8‑1 Behavioral Health Office Representative Responsibilities Obtain and update patient information. Schedule patient appointments and assist with patient inquiries; may arrange for additional services. Collect and post payments, and assist with patient billing questions. Ensure completion of all encounter documentation prior to check out. Accept transfers from other facilities according to established guidelines. Schedule patients with appropriate provider, answer phones and respond within time frames defined by departmental guidelines. Obtain complete and accurate patient registration information according to department standards. Review and confirm all registration information is accurate at each appointment and make any required updates. Consistently review cancellation, displaced patients, and appointment requests worklist throughout the day. Review daily schedules for availability and coordinate with onsite supervisor to ensure providers’ schedules are at capacity. Greet, register and check in patients. Requirements High School or equivalent. 1 year of office related experience. Customer service, interpersonal and critical thinking skills. Written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work independently and with a team. Organization, administrative and clerical skills.
