Pride Health is hiring a Phlebotomist Itosupport our client's healthcarefacility in Leesburg FL 34748. Job Details Schedule:Tuesday thru Saturday 6:30am to 3:30pm (eastern) /Off every Sunday and Monday. Location:Leesburg FL 34748 Job Type: [ local contract] Contract Length: 4 Months+ Pay Range:$19.85 - $21.26 PER HOUR *Pay offered is based on experience,expertise, credentialing, and education. Key Responsibilities Responsibilities: Experience doing blood draws, labeling specimens, centrifuging specimens, recording maintenance data and decontamination, updating patient information, etc. Collects and stores specimens in accordance with established procedures. Properly explain in a clear but courteous manner the process of the venipuncture (blood drawing) and or other specimen collection (ex. urine or fecal) as required. Demonstrate technique/s using straight needles and/or butterfly needles. Fully understand all of the physicians' orders. Matches laboratory requisition forms to specimen tubes. Label, centrifuge, split, and freeze specimens as required by test order. Check all test requisitions or computer labels against the script to ensure 100% correctness. Package specimens for transport. Stores specimens at the required temperature and places them. Qualifications A High School Diploma or GED is required. A minimum of 3-5 yr. of phlebotomy experience is required.
