Line Cook
State Bird Provisions
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Uphold high standards of quality, freshness, and consistency across all products.
- Maintain consistency, cleanliness, and organization throughout service.
- Properly store, label, and rotate ingredients and prepared items.
- Assist with daily prep and station setup.
- Prepare and execute dishes to the restaurant’s standards for quality and presentation.
- 5 days per week: shifts are from 1pm-11:30pm, including a 30 minute break for staff meal.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- A passion for food, education, and professional development; Interest and pride in learning about food and wine.
- Strong work ethic, attention to detail, and clear communication skills.
- Ability to clearly communicate, multitask and remain calm under pressure.
- Being a genuine team player - we are only successful if everyone works together.
- Physical stamina: ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Desire for longevity, with a commitment of at least one year.
- Previous cook experience preferred.
