Qualifications & Requirements:
- Experience as a paraprofessional or working with children in educational settings is preferred
- Commitment to creating an inclusive and encouraging atmosphere for students of diverse backgrounds and abilities
- Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with teachers, staff, and students
- Patience, adaptability, and a genuine passion for education and student success
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional relevant certifications are a plus
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist teachers with classroom management and instructional activities
- Work one-on-one or with small groups to reinforce lessons and provide personalized support
- Help implement individualized education plans (IEPs) and ensure students receive appropriate accommodations
- Foster a safe, respectful, and engaging learning environment
- Support students with various needs, both academic and behavioral
- Aid in the preparation of materials and organization of classroom resources
