What we’re looking for:
- Previous experience working with children or adolescents, preferably in an educational setting
- Strong interpersonal and communication abilities
- Ability to work collaboratively with teachers, support staff, and families
- Adaptability to assist with a variety of learning needs and classroom activities
- Patience, reliability, and a nurturing approach to student support
- High school diploma or equivalent required; paraeducator certification or equivalent coursework is a plus
Your daily impact:
- Provide classroom and individualized support under the guidance of teaching staff
- Assist students with instructional activities, assignments, and social engagement
- Help maintain a positive, inclusive, and safe learning environment
- Support students with special needs, offering encouragement and one-on-one guidance as needed
- Monitor and report student progress and behavior to teaching staff
- Contribute to classroom organization, preparation of materials, and supervision of students during transitions or breaks
