About this position Executive Director – Assisted Living & Memory Care Community Grand Villa of Ocala, a leading provider of assisted living and memory care services across Florida, is seeking a dynamic and experienced Executive Director to lead our Ocala community. Upon the retirement of our current director, the successful candidate will step into a pivotal leadership role, ensuring the continued success and excellence of our community. Responsibilities Oversee the overall management and daily operations of the community, ensuring smooth and efficient functioning. Maintain compliance with all applicable federal, state, and local laws, regulations, and industry standards. Recruit, hire, train, and supervise qualified staff, fostering a positive and productive work environment. Develop and implement operational policies and procedures to ensure high-quality care and service delivery. Monitor financial performance, including budgeting, expense control, and revenue management. Promote a culture of safety, respect, and compassion among staff and residents. Build strong relationships with residents, families, staff, and the community to enhance reputation and engagement. Ensure the community meets or exceeds occupancy and satisfaction goals. Lead quality assurance initiatives and continuous improvement efforts. Skills and Qualifications Proven experience in senior living, assisted living, or healthcare management, with a strong understanding of regulatory compliance. Exceptional leadership and team-building skills. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving abilities. Strong financial acumen and experience managing budgets and financial reports. Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work effectively in a fast-paced environment. Knowledge of state and federal regulations related to assisted living and memory care. Bachelor\'s degree in healthcare administration, business, or related field; advanced degree preferred. Valid state-specific administrator license or certification is a plus.
