What You'll Do

• Conduct assessments for patients in a long-term care setting
• Develop and implement personalized therapy plans
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to promote patient progress
• Participate in facility meetings and contribute to the schedule
• Support and supervise therapy assistants and team members as needed
• Ensure compliance with federal and state regulations
• Contribute to quality improvement initiatives in rehabilitation services

What You Need

Required:

• Valid Speech-Language Pathology license in Missouri or eligible for licensure
• Prior experience in a long-term care or similar setting
• Strong communication and teamwork skills

Preferred:

• Previous experience with PDPM processes and documentation
• Experience supervising therapy staff or aides

About the Assignment This role involves assessing and providing speech-language therapy to patients within a long-term care facility. You will work closely with the rehab team to develop and monitor patient progress, ensuring high-quality, compliant care that enhances patient outcomes. The position involves light case loads with some DOR responsibilities, fostering a collaborative and impactful work environment.
