Location: Frankfort, Kentucky (Onsite)

Role Overview

The IT Support Specialist will provide frontline technical assistance and customer service to end users. This role is responsible for configuring, installing, and maintaining computer hardware and software, resolving technical issues, and ensuring a positive support experience. The ideal candidate communicates clearly and demonstrates problem-solving skills.

Key Responsibilities

Deliver customer service through clear, professional communication and timely issue resolution.

Configure, set up, and install computer equipment, peripherals, and related hardware.

Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and network issues for end users.

Manage and update support tickets using ITSM platforms like ServiceNow.

Maintain documentation of issues, solutions, and asset information.

Collaborate with IT team members to escalate complex issues when necessary.

Support software installations, updates, and system maintenance activities.

Work effectively under pressure while managing multiple priorities.

Required Qualifications

Customer service and verbal/written communication skills.

Hands-on experience with computer hardware and software troubleshooting.

Proficiency in configuring, installing, and maintaining computer equipment.

Experience using ticketing systems, preferably ServiceNow.

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications

Familiarity with enterprise IT environments.

Basic networking knowledge (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP).

Experience supporting Windows and/or macOS environments.

A+ or other relevant IT certifications.

Compensation & Benefits

The pay rate for this position is between $18.00 and $21.00 per hour.
