A rapidly growing plaintiffs' litigation firm with an established reputation in employment and consumer class action litigation is expanding its presence in Chicago and seeking an experienced attorney to join its team. Recognized as a leader in plaintiff-side wage-and-hour class action litigation, the firm represents employees and consumers in high-impact cases against regional, national, and Fortune 500 companies across a wide range of industries. The firm's practice focuses on the prosecution of complex employment and consumer class actions, including matters involving wage-and-hour violations, PAGA claims, unfair business practices, discrimination, and false advertising. With a strong track record of securing significant recoveries on behalf of thousands of employees and consumers, the firm maintains an active and robust caseload in both state and federal courts. Licensed to practice law in California or Illinois, or licensed in another U.S. jurisdiction and eligible for admission in California or Illinois. 8+ years of civil litigation experience. Strong experience managing all phases of litigation, including: Written discovery and discovery strategy Motion practice Court appearances and oral advocacy Taking and defending depositions Case management and client interaction Experience with employment litigation, wage-and-hour claims, class actions, collective actions, PAGA matters, or other complex litigation is highly preferred.
