Floral Manager

The ideal candidate will have a passion for flowers and plants, a keen eye for design, and strong leadership skills. As a Floral Manager, you will be responsible for managing the daily operations of the floral department, including inventory management, staff supervision, and customer service. You will work closely with suppliers to ensure a diverse and high-quality selection of flowers and plants, and you will create beautiful floral arrangements for various occasions. Additionally, you will be responsible for training and mentoring staff, ensuring that they have the skills and knowledge needed to provide excellent customer service. The Floral Manager will also be responsible for maintaining a clean and organized work environment, adhering to safety and health regulations, and managing the department's budget. Manage inventory and order supplies as needed. Create and design floral arrangements for various occasions. Train and supervise floral department staff. Ensure excellent customer service is provided at all times. Maintain a clean and organized work environment. Work closely with suppliers to ensure a diverse selection of flowers and plants. Manage the department's budget and financial performance. Adhere to safety and health regulations. Develop and implement marketing strategies to promote the floral department. Handle customer inquiries and resolve any issues or complaints. Monitor sales and adjust inventory levels accordingly. Coordinate with other departments to ensure smooth operations. Plan and execute special events and promotions. Stay updated on industry trends and best practices. Ensure proper care and maintenance of flowers and plants. Prepare reports on department performance and sales. Implement and enforce company policies and procedures. Conduct regular staff meetings and training sessions. Foster a positive and productive work environment. Requirements Proven experience as a Floral Manager or similar role. Strong knowledge of flowers, plants, and floral design. Excellent leadership and management skills. Strong organizational and multitasking abilities. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Customer service-oriented with a positive attitude. Proficient in inventory management and budgeting. Creative and detail-oriented. Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays. Knowledge of safety and health regulations. Ability to lift and carry heavy items. Proficient in using floral design software and tools. Strong problem-solving skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. High school diploma or equivalent; additional education in floral design or horticulture is a plus.
