Accounting Manager

Position Accounting Manager – reports to Senior Accounting Manager on the Finance team. Based at Silvus Technologies’ headquarters in West Los Angeles, CA, this hybrid role requires a minimum of three onsite days per week (Mondays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays). Responsibilities Oversee daily operations of accounting analysts, ensuring accurate and timely recording and reporting of financial information. Manage month, quarter and year‑end close processes, ensuring all financial records, journal entries, and balance sheet reconciliations are accurate and SOX compliant. Supervise, train, and mentor junior accounting staff, fostering a culture of excellence and professional growth. Identify and implement process simplification and automation opportunities. Analyze General Ledger activity to ensure compliance with GAAP and company policies. Own GL related SOX efforts. Perform other related duties as assigned. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field. 5+ years of professional accounting experience, with at least 1 year of supervisory experience. Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office, specifically Excel. Resourceful; able to devise creative solutions to problems. Must be a U.S. Person (U.S. Citizen or U.S. Permanent Resident) due to U.S. federal contracts. Background check and drug test clearance required. Preferred Current CPA license. Master’s Degree in Accounting. Experience with Oracle. Experience at a publicly traded company or in external audit. Working Conditions Office environment. Ability to lift up to 20 lbs. Compensation $125,000 – $160,000 annually.
