Our mission: Through the hearts of our Care Team Members, we provide excellent healthcare to those we serve.Our Core Values...L - ListeningE - EmpathyA - AccountabilityD - DecisivenessThis is how we create a culture to LEAD with Love.Position Overview:The ADNS assists in managing the department of nursing and assumes responsibility delegated by the Director of Nursing Services (DNS).Key Responsibilities:Assist in interviewing applicants and recommend hiring of staff and scheduling.Participate in orientation and in-service education training.Participate in performance reviews and personnel files; enforce the personnel policies of the community, including disciplining and terminating care team members.Assist DNS in ensuring compliance with regulations for documentation from physicians and nursing personnel and ensuring that all regional policies/procedures are implemented.Assist with care planning process.Make rounds daily to direct the work of care team members and to observe for hazards, work duty problems, and ensure services are delivered to clients consistent with needs.Assist with Continuous Quality Improvement and corrective follow-up actions.Follow up daily on each unit to ensure changes in status are reported and recorded and that services are provided.Under the direction of the DNS, complete chart audits and report results and progress, and makes recommendations for improvement to the DNS.Ensure proper infection control techniques are utilized.Maintain effective communication with families, residents and community staff.Qualifications:Current RN license by State Board of Nursing in state employed; license must be active, valid, and in good standing.Experience in the long-term care or working with the geriatric population preferred.Must have at least three years nursing experience and one year supervisory experience.Must hold an active CPR or ability to obtain within the first 30-days of hire; CPR must remain active and current throughout employmentBluegrass Difference Benefits:Quarterly Pay IncreaseDaily PayCompany-Paid Life InsuranceTelehealth Services7 Company-Paid HolidaysCare Team Member Relief FundJoin the Bluegrass Consulting Group team where compassion meets excellence!
