Outside Sales Representative - Commercial / Mechanical

Position Overview Ferguson is looking for an experienced Outside Sales Representative – Commercial to serve customers in the Sacramento/Stockton area. Responsibilities Develop and maintain relationships with vendors and an assigned customer base while collaborating with branch associates to ensure customer satisfaction. Identify and actively pursue new business opportunities to expand the current customer base, working with management to develop sales strategies and target new accounts. Perform product quotations and problem resolution for customers. Analyze competition in territory, devise sales strategy, and communicate strategy to management. Continuously improve sales skills and product knowledge to maintain a professional image in the field. Document all sales activity in Salesforce for evaluation of new business pipeline and measurement of sales closure results. Qualifications A minimum of 5 years industry related sales experience. Results oriented, self‑motivated, and able to complete tasks in a timely manner. Excellent communication, time‑management, and organizational skills. Problem‑solving, leadership, and listening skills. General digital literacy. Ability to multi‑task and learn quickly. Compensation This is a base and commission‑eligible role with no cap on commission. The estimated total compensation range, based on performance and experience, is $75,000 – $120,000+.
