Key Responsibilities\n

In your role as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, you will be responsible for:

• Conducting comprehensive assessments of clients to accurately determine their needs and develop tailored intervention plans.

• Providing crisis intervention services, utilizing evidence-based practices to support clients in distress.

• Facilitating communication with families, educators, and community partners by making appropriate referrals to essential services.

• Engaging clients in therapeutic activities and skill-building exercises to promote their well-being and resilience.

• Maintaining detailed and accurate records of client interactions, treatment plans, and progress reports in compliance with legal and ethical standards.

• Monitoring for signs of child abuse and promptly reporting concerns as per established guidelines.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will primarily work with children and adolescents facing various social, emotional, and behavioral challenges. Your role will include supporting students impacted by neglect, child abuse, domestic violence, and mental health disorders. Tailoring your approach to meet the developmental needs of each individual, you will work collaboratively with families and educational staff to facilitate positive outcomes.

Qualifications\n

To be successful in this role, candidates must possess:

• A Master’s degree in Social Work (MSW) or a related field.

• Current licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the state of New Jersey.

• A strong understanding of assessment, diagnosis, and treatment methodologies relevant to a diverse population.

• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, allowing for effective client engagement and documentation.

• Robust organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple cases and priorities efficiently.

Preferred Experience\n

While a minimum of two years of clinical experience is preferred, candidates with demonstrated skills in crisis management, risk assessment, and intervention strategies will be prioritized. Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is highly desirable to better accommodate our diverse client base.

Compensation and Benefits\n
