Cattle Territory Sales Representative (South Eastern KS)

Merck's Animal Health division seeks a Territory Sales Representative for South Eastern Kansas to manage cattle product sales across assigned accounts. The role focuses on understanding customer needs, developing account strategies, and driving sales growth through consultative engagement with livestock producers and decision-makers.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain relationships with key customer personnel and decision-makers in assigned territory
• Develop customer and territory account plans aligned with company strategy and sales growth targets
• Communicate product value and customized solutions based on individual customer business needs
• Analyze monthly sales results, manage expenses within budget, and collaborate with regional teams
• Identify and coordinate training programs and customer education addressing specific account needs

Requirements

• High school diploma minimum; bachelor's degree preferred
• Familiarity with beef cattle industry and animal health products
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation abilities
• Proficient with Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and iPad applications
• Ability to travel overnight and manage independent territory work
• Sales experience and account management skills preferred
• Spanish fluency preferred but not required
