Quick Facts Location: 2550 Sister Mary Columba Drive, Red Bluff, CA 96080 Start Date: 08/07/2026 End Date: Based on assignment duration Shift: 24-hour call (OB & GYN ED) shifts Hours/Week: Approximately 40 hours (call coverage only) Employment Type: Locum/Temporary License/Certs: Active California medical license; board-certified in OB/GYN preferred Experience: 1+ years of OB/GYN practice, including deliveries and gynecological surgeries Pay & Benefits Flat Rate On-Call: $5,000 $5,500 per shift (includes all hours) Holiday Call Rate: $7,500 $8,250 (all hours included) Additional Benefits: Competitive pay packages Weekly pay schedule via direct deposit Comprehensive medical benefits (W-2) Robust referral bonus program Paid sick time, in accordance with all applicable laws Licensure, certification, travel, and other reimbursements when applicable Dedicated 24/7 support team to assist throughout your assignment What You'll Do Provide full-scope OB/GYN clinical care, including deliveries (vaginal and C-sections) and gynecological surgeries Cover OB/GYN emergency department calls during scheduled shifts Collaborate with support staff, including dedicated medical assistants and practice managers Ensure timely management of obstetric emergencies and patient care coordination Maintain adherence to hospital policies and protocols What You Need Active California medical license with OB/GYN certification Minimum of 1 year of OB/GYN practice experience Ability to respond within 20 minutes for call coverage Strong clinical skills in deliveries and gynecological procedures Excellent communication and teamwork skills About the Assignment This assignment involves providing OB/GYN coverage at a reputable hospital in Red Bluff, CA, focusing on emergency and inpatient/outpatient care. The facility offers a supportive environment with dedicated staff and modern facilities. No NICU coverage is required. Deliveries average 40 per month, with approximately 16-20 patients per day.
