We are a rapidly growing building technology and low-voltage systems provider serving clients throughout New York, New Jersey, and the greater Tri-State area. Our team specializes in designing, installing, and maintaining critical infrastructure solutions for multifamily residential properties, commercial buildings, and institutional facilities. Our services include security camera systems, access control, smart locks, intercom systems, structured cabling, networking, burglar alarms, fire alarm systems, and a wide range of smart building technologies. We have built a strong reputation by delivering reliable solutions that improve security, connectivity, and operational efficiency for property owners, developers, management companies, and general contractors. As we continue our expansion, we are seeking a driven sales professional who understands the multifamily market and can develop relationships with decision-makers responsible for building operations, construction projects, and property improvements.

We are seeking a Corporate Sales Executive to drive new business development throughout New York, New Jersey, and the broader Tri-State area. This position focuses on selling low-voltage and building technology solutions to multifamily property owners, management companies, developers, construction firms, and commercial real estate stakeholders.

The ideal candidate has experience selling products or services into the multifamily housing sector and understands how to navigate relationships with property managers, asset managers, ownership groups, developers, and construction professionals. While direct low-voltage experience is highly desirable, we are also interested in candidates from adjacent industries such as security systems, HVAC, building services, construction services, roofing, elevators, property technology, facility services, telecommunications, or other solutions sold into multifamily and commercial real estate environments.

This is a highly entrepreneurial role for a relationship-driven sales professional who thrives on developing new business, building long-term partnerships, and uncovering opportunities within both existing and new construction projects. The successful candidate will be responsible for expanding market presence throughout New York and New Jersey while becoming a trusted resource for clients seeking building technology and security solutions.

This is primarily a field-based sales position, with approximately 80% of time spent meeting clients, visiting properties, networking, and generating new business throughout the territory. The remaining 20% of time will be spent in the office collaborating with leadership, participating in meetings, and coordinating with internal teams. Candidates who are newer to the industry or require additional training may spend additional time in the office during onboarding before transitioning into a more independent, field-focused schedule.

Candidates may be based in Brooklyn, Monsey, Queens, or anywhere throughout the Tri-State area, provided they can effectively cover the territory and meet with clients regularly.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain relationships with multifamily property owners, management companies, developers, general contractors, and real estate investors.
  • Identify, prospect, and secure new business opportunities throughout New York, New Jersey, and the surrounding Tri-State region.
  • Generate revenue through networking, referrals, strategic partnerships, cold outreach, and industry events.
  • Meet with clients to assess needs and recommend appropriate low-voltage and building technology solutions.
  • Present and sell security camera systems, access control solutions, smart locks, intercom systems, networking infrastructure, structured cabling, alarm systems, and related technologies.
  • Build and manage a robust pipeline of opportunities across both new construction and retrofit projects.
  • Collaborate with internal technical and operations teams to develop proposals and customized solutions.
  • Manage the sales process from initial introduction through contract execution and project handoff.
  • Develop long-term client relationships that lead to repeat business and referral opportunities.
  • Maintain accurate sales forecasting, pipeline management, and activity tracking.
  • Stay informed on market trends, construction activity, property management needs, and emerging building technologies.
  • Represent the company professionally at client meetings, industry conferences, networking events, and trade shows.

Qualifications

  • Proven track record in outside sales, business development, account management, or consultative B2B sales.
  • Experience selling into the multifamily housing sector is strongly preferred.
  • Experience selling construction-related services, building systems, or facility solutions is highly desirable.
  • Background in low-voltage systems, security systems, surveillance, access control, HVAC, elevators, roofing, construction services, building products, telecommunications, facility services, or related industries is highly valued.
  • Demonstrated success generating and closing new business opportunities.
  • Existing relationships within the multifamily, commercial real estate, construction, or property management sectors are a significant advantage.
  • Strong communication, presentation, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Self-starter with an entrepreneurial mindset and the ability to work independently.
  • Ability to engage decision-makers at all levels, including property owners, executives, developers, and management companies.
  • Comfortable working in a highly autonomous, field-based sales environment, with approximately 80% of time spent on the road meeting clients and developing business opportunities throughout the territory.
  • Comfortable traveling throughout New York, New Jersey, and the Tri-State area.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

Compensation

  • $80,000 - $120,000 compensation package consisting of a combination of base salary and draw against future commissions.
  • Generous commission structure ranging from 3% to 5% on closed business.
