What You'll Do Prepare and submit accurate claims for all DME and supply services via electronic or paper submission Verify patient demographics, insurance information, and billing codes for accuracy Confirm all sales orders for rental and purchase items of DME and supplies verifying all items and quantities, proof of delivery, ordering doctor, and diagnosis for accuracy Ensure all coverage limitations and validation rules are met prior to making sales orders complete and closed Ensure all tracking and proof of delivery is properly uploaded into Brightree for all sales orders confirmed Follow established billing processes and procedures Stay up to date on billing regulations and reimbursement guidelines Manage multiple tasks, prioritizing workload in an efficient manner Support special projects as assigned What You Bring Exceptional attention to detail — accurate coding, clean claims, and airtight documentation are your standard Effective verbal and written communication skills for professional interaction with patients, families, and internal teams The ability to follow verbal and written instructions and adhere to established processes Professional telephone and email etiquette Sound judgment and creative problem-solving skills to resolve billing issues efficiently The ability to respond well to multitasking while delivering exceptional customer service and responsiveness A collaborative, team-first mindset Proficiency with computer systems, including Microsoft Office Suite and healthcare management software Education & Experience Brightree experience required 2 or more years of medical billing experience preferred DME billing experience highly preferred Texas/Colorado Medicaid experience preferred but not required Benefits Medical, dental, vision, life, accidental, short-term disability, flexible savings account, and telehealth Competitive pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour based on experience PTO: 80 to 160 hours based on tenure 401(k) with matching: 100% match up to 4%, partial match up to 6% Wellness perk: Free gym membership or $25 monthly stipend if unavailable in your area Growth opportunities: Internal development and advancement pathways This is a full-time, non-exempt, on-site position located at 27905 Commercial Park Rd., Suite #240, Tomball, TX 77375. Standard hours are Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., with occasional after-hours availability as needed.
