Content, Media & Entertainment Patent Litigation Associate

Overview The firm's Content, Media, and Entertainment (CME) team is deeply involved in virtually all aspects of the technology, media, and entertainment industries, guiding clients on emerging technologies, platforms, dispute navigation, legislation, regulation, and strategic transactions. The role focuses on a wide variety of fast-moving and complex matters, with an emphasis on emerging technology, artificial intelligence, and patent matters. Core duties include client counseling, oral advocacy before various courts and governmental agencies, fact development, legal research, strategic analysis, and writing. A Bachelor of Arts or Science degree in Computer Science or Electrical Engineering or a related field is required. Prior experience litigating patent matters in district courts and before the USPTO is essential. Jenner & Block is known for high-level problem-solving in litigation, government controversies, investigations, regulatory challenges, and complex corporate transactions, representing a diverse client base including Fortune 100 companies, major nonprofits, private equity investors, and Native American tribes.
