Assistant Property Manager

We're seeking an experienced Assistant Property Manager to help with operations of communities in Gypsum, with occasional travel to a sister property in Glenwood Springs. What You'll Do as the Assistant Property Manager : Assist with the day‑to‑day operations of the apartment community. Coordinate apartment turnovers, move‑ins, move‑outs, and transfers. Process certifications and recertifications while maintaining accurate resident files. Ensure compliance with HUD and other affordable housing program requirements. Welcome new residents and conduct lease orientations. Respond to resident concerns and help foster a positive community environment. Coordinate with maintenance staff and outside vendors to keep the property safe, clean, and well maintained. Assist with budgeting, reporting, and administrative responsibilities. Support leasing activities and resident retention efforts. Help supervise on‑site operations and contribute to the success of the community. Travel between the Gypsum and Glenwood Springs communities as needed to support operations. Assistant Property Manager Qualifications: Previous apartment management or assistant property management experience required. Affordable housing experience (HUD, LIHTC, USDA, HOME, CHFA, or similar programs) strongly preferred. Experience with certifications and recertifications is highly desirable. Strong customer service, communication, and organizational skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining attention to detail.
