This role will ply n importnt role within the Blckbir Tem to cover wie rnge of lbortory opertions n spport fnctions for the Blckbir BioHb. ties for this position incle ll spects of opertions mngement. The iel cnite will be experience in opertionlizing lbortory n technicl environments n will work well in tem environment to spport the nee for renncy in opertions mngement. They will exercise goo jgement in vriety of sittions, with excellent written n verbl commniction, ministrtive n orgniztionl skills.

Lb Opertions Responsibilities:

• Be stewr of n increible Resient experience. The BioHb spires to eliver spce with first-in-clss Resient spport where the fcility, n ll its menities work 1% of the time.

• Instrmenttion & Mintennce Progrms
• Spporting instrment selection/cqisition. Evlting ll new eqipment prchses weighing cost, technicl specifiction reqirements, n sitbility for n incbtor setting perspectives.
• Mintining eqipment service schele, incling PM recor mngement n service ocmenttion.
• Coorinte n ocment clibrtion of reqisite BioHb eqipment/instrmenttion.
• eveloping cler, concise tennt gies n/or trining to tennts.
• Re-evlting policies n proceres tht o not eliver this objective n reesigning them.
• Fmilir with cytometers or high content imging systems wol be pls.
• Oversee login n ccess configrtion for shre lb compters n instrmenttion worksttions.
• Generl BioHb Workflow
• Spporting onboring/offboring of both Resient compnies n inivil resient employees
• Inventory, restock common spces for spplie consmbles
• Prepre n mintin common-se soltions, bffers, n mei, s neee.
• Spport resient scientists with generl cell cltre workflows, cryogenic storge, n mycoplsm testing progrms.

• Mintin emergency response reiness incling spill kits, weekly testing of eye wsh sttions, n monthly testing of sfety showers.

Fcility Opertions Responsibilities:

• Spport (ocment, respon, resolve, follow-p) for y-to-y fcility reqests
• Coorinte with other opertions tem members to ensre filre mitigtion plns renncy for ll spects of BioHb opertions (Office & Lb).
• pply hns-on pproch to common fcility n lb problems: ssembling n monting eqipment, minor plmbing fixes, mnging cbling n tility orgniztion, n coorinting more mjor fcility isses with externl spport.
• Set-p n brek own eqipment for new resient move-ins n move-ots.
• Ientify opportnities to improve opertionl efficiency, rece wste, n enhnce the resient experience
• Collborte with Opertions personnel to provie bck-p n cross-fnctionl ministrtive spport s neee.
• In coorintion with mnge services provier n Lb Ops tem, evelop evice mngement strtegy which spports t mngement nees of Resients n llows for siloing of proprietry t nlyses.

• Spport mintennce of clen, orgnize, fnctionl shre spces; enforce lb hosekeeping stnrs.
• Other opertionl spport, s reqire by the role.
• Spport plnning/constrction process for ny fcility moifictions/pgres reqire by Blckbir Lbortories.

Skills/Experience:

• Bchelor's egree reqire.
• 3-5 yers of hns-on lbortory experience, preferbly in the moleclr biology, biochemicl, virology, or immnology spce. Preferre 1-2 yers of experience in lb mngement, lb coorintor, or senior reserch spport role.
• nerstning of EHS regltions pplicble to biologicl (n chemicl) lbortories (OSH, EP, CC/NIH biosfety gielines) n BSL2 reqirements.
• Proven bility to trobleshoot n resolve eqipment n fcility isses with miniml spervision.
• Exceptionl commniction, orgniztionl n prioritiztion skills
• bility to nlyze risk n mke informe opertionl ecisions bse on risk ssessments n impct nlysis.
• Flexibility to work s prt of tem or inepenently to meet gols.

• Strong Microsoft office skills re reqire: specificlly, Otlook, Wor, Excel n PowerPoint
• Cnites mst be comfortble with personl protective eqipment (PPE), occsionl lifting of p to 5 lbs, n performing tsks tht reqire mnl exterity n ttention to sfety protocols.
