Business Development Associate

Role Description This full-time, on-site Business Development Associate role is based in the Salt Lake City Metropolitan Area. The Business Development Associate is responsible for identifying and qualifying new business opportunities, supporting the sales pipeline, and maintaining relationships with existing and prospective clients. Daily tasks include researching target markets, preparing outreach materials, coordinating meetings and presentations, and assisting in the development of proposals and contracts. The role also involves tracking leads and activities in CRM tools, analyzing market trends and competitive information, and collaborating with sales, marketing, and product teams to align business development efforts. The Business Development Associate will contribute to revenue growth by helping to refine strategies, gathering client feedback, and ensuring a professional and consistent client experience. Qualifications Strong skills in lead generation, prospecting, and client relationship management, with the ability to maintain a structured and organized sales pipeline. Competence in market research, data analysis, and competitive intelligence to identify opportunities and support informed decision-making. Effective written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to prepare presentations, proposals, and clear client correspondence. Proficiency with CRM systems and basic office software (e.g., spreadsheets, presentations, documents) to document activities and report on progress. Demonstrated ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams, manage time effectively, and handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Strong interpersonal skills, professional demeanor, and comfort interacting with clients, partners, and internal stakeholders at various levels. Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience.
