Inspired Assisted Living Walnut Creek is a licensed residential care home for six seniors. You'll care for the same residents each shift, in a comfortable home setting, and get to know their routines, their stories, and what helps them settle back to sleep at 3am.

WHAT YOU'LL EARN

- $18 to $25/hr based on experience

- 4 hours of overtime pay built into every shift, which works out to $238 to $336 per shift

- Double pay on holidays

- Free meals every shift

- 5 paid sick days

- $300-600 bonus programs for performance

- Paid training, including required dementia care training

YOUR SCHEDULE

Minimum 2 shifts per week, up to 4 available. We're building toward fixed weekly rotations, and early hires get first pick.

WHAT A NIGHT LOOKS LIKE

This is an awake overnight shift. You'll be the only caregiver on shift. Throughout the night you'll:

- Check on residents regularly and respond to call lights and alarms

- Help with toileting, incontinence care, and repositioning

- Comfort residents who wake up anxious or confused, especially those living with dementia

- Document care and anything notable overnight

- Handle laundry and cleaning, and set the home up for a smooth morning handoff

- Stay alert and follow RCFE emergency procedures

WHAT YOU NEED

- 18 or older, with a high school diploma or GED

- Able to pass a DOJ/FBI background check, TB test, and physical

- CPR and First Aid certification before your first solo shift (we'll help you get it)

- Able to safely lift and transfer residents (up to 50 lbs)

- Comfortable being the steady presence in the house overnight

- Reliable. Nights only work if you show up, and our residents count on it.

NICE TO HAVE, NOT REQUIRED

- Overnight or dementia care experience

- Prior work in an assisted living or RCFE setting
