CommuniCare Health Services is currently hiring full time Accountants for positions located at our Corporate Office in Blue Ash, OH.

Job Duties & Responsibilities
- Responsible for ensuring timely month end close processing and financial statement review and distribution.
- Reviews bi-weekly labor reports, analyzes variances, and distributes to management.
- Performs monthly bank account reconciliations and various balance sheet account reconciliations.
- Prepares balance sheet account reconciliations and work papers for quarterly balance sheet reviews by accounting management.
- Assists department management in preparation for various audits
- Other accounting projects and functions as assigned.
Qualifications & Experience Requirements
- A bachelor degree in accounting and previous accounting experience,
- Healthcare environment (long-term care) experience preferred.
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities
- Must be knowledgeable in Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
- Must have the ability to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant
- Must be able to deal tactfully with team members and managers
- Excellent Excel skills are required
- Workday experience a plus
- Superior organizational skills, strong task management skills, and the ability to prioritize tasks.
- Also important are excellent interpersonal and communication skills with both internal and external customers and the ability to work in a team oriented environment.
- A positive attitude, with a high degree of ethics and personal integrity, as well as confidentiality, are needed to be successful in this role.
