Production Material Handler I

Material Handler (1st Shift - 6:30AM-2:30PM)

Under direct supervision, the Material Handler is responsible for handling and maintaining the flow of materials and products within manufacturing areas according to established guidelines. This role supports daily operations by ensuring materials are accurately tracked, properly stored, and efficiently moved throughout the facility.

Pay range: $23-$25/hour Contract length: 8 months Work schedule: 1st Shift (6:30AM-2:30PM)

Load, unload, move, and store materials within the facility

Maintain the flow of materials and products in manufacturing areas

Provide accurate information for recording movement of incoming and outgoing materials and supplies

Pick, stage, and prepare materials for production or shipment

Inspect materials for damage and ensure proper handling

Operate motorized and non-motorized material handling equipment (e.g., forklifts, pallet jacks) as needed

Follow all safety procedures and company policies

High school diploma or equivalent

Ability to lift and move materials up to 50 lbs

Basic knowledge of warehouse or manufacturing operations

Experience operating material handling equipment is a plus

Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions

Manufacturing or warehouse setting involving physical activity such as standing, walking, lifting, and operating equipment throughout the shift.
