Travel Registered Nurse (RN) – Telemetry (Nights)

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Travel | 13 Weeks | Night Shift (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM) | Every Other Weekend and Every Other Holiday | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver comprehensive, quality patient care to patients of all ages utilizing the nursing process on a 30-bed Telemetry unit
• Monitor and assess cardiac patients, incorporating specialized educational requirements and competencies related to telemetry care
• Maintain a patient ratio of 1:5 to 1:6 while ensuring safe and effective care delivery
• Float as required to Med/Surg and remote Telemetry units
• Document patient care accurately using Cerner EMR

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Minimum 1–2 years of Telemetry and/or Step-Down experience
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification required
• NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification required
• Ability and willingness to float to Med/Surg and remote Telemetry

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with Cerner EMR
• Prior travel nursing experience
