Job Title: Registered Nurse - Rapid Response Profession: RN Specialty: Rapid Response Duration: 6 Weeks Shift: Night Shift Hours per Shift: 12 Hours Experience: Minimum 1 Year License: Active RN License Certifications: TNCC, ACLS, PALS, BLS, NIHSS Must-Have: - Required certifications and experience. - Positive, flexible, team-oriented, patient-centered personality. - Experienced ED RN comfortable with commonly seen ED chief complaints and care of trauma patients. Description: Looking for a Rapid Response RN to join our dynamic team. This position offers challenging opportunities in a fast-paced environment. Experience with IV insertion, Foley catheter insertion, and NG tube insertion is essential. Assist providers with various emergency department procedures commonly performed. Strong communication skills are required to effectively interact with patients and providers. The unit consists of 11 beds with a patient ratio based on acuity, typically 1:4 or 1:6. Each RN and Patient Care Technician is responsible for running point of care labs. RNs will set up and adjust respiratory equipment for patients, with assistance available from the main facility. Documentation will be conducted using the Meditech system. Every other weekend work is required. There is a possibility of floating to the main emergency department. This facility is newly built with all new equipment. Opportunity to learn new skills including managing Bipap and ventilator equipment. A fully staffed team is in the process of being built for enhanced patient care.
