Janitor/Custodian

Job Description

Job Responsibilities:

The Janitorial Worker is responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and orderly environment throughout the manufacturing facility, including bathrooms, breakrooms, warehouse areas, offices, and common areas.

Job Duties:
• Clean and sanitize bathrooms, including toilets, sinks, floors, mirrors, and other surfaces.
• Clean and maintain employee breakrooms, including tables, counters, sinks, appliances, and floors.
• Sweep, mop, and vacuum floors throughout the facility.
• Clean and maintain warehouse and common areas.
• Empty trash and recycling containers and replace liners.
• Dust and wipe down desks, tables, counters, doors, and other surfaces as needed.
• Restock bathroom and breakroom supplies such as toilet paper, paper towels, soap, and other items.
• Clean spills and address areas requiring immediate attention to help maintain a safe workplace.
• Follow proper procedures when using cleaning chemicals and equipment.
• Maintain cleaning supplies and notify management when supplies need to be replenished.
• Perform routine cleaning of offices, hallways, entryways, and other assigned areas.
• Assist with general facility cleaning and housekeeping tasks as needed.
• Follow all company safety policies and procedures.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

Skills and Qualifications:
• Previous experience in janitorial work.
• Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
• Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
