Medical Assistant

Job Full Description

We are seeking a Medical Assistant to join a busy practice and provide both clinical and front-office support.


This position is ideal for someone who is dependable, eager to learn, and enjoys working directly with patients. The right candidate will be flexible, proactive, and willing to assist wherever needed to help provide an outstanding patient experience.

Responsibilities

• Assist with patient intake, including obtaining vital signs and preparing patients for appointments.
• Support providers with procedures and other clinical duties.
• Assist with X-rays and additional procedures (training available).
• Answer phones, schedule appointments, and provide exceptional customer service.
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
• Support multiple areas of the office and cross-train on various responsibilities.
• Help maintain an organized, efficient, and welcoming environment for patients.

Qualifications

• Strong computer skills.
• Excellent communication and customer service abilities.
• Comfortable speaking with patients both in person and over the phone.
• Previous medical or healthcare experience is preferred, especially experience taking vitals or assisting in a clinical setting.
• Dependable, adaptable, and willing to learn.
• Positive attitude and strong team-oriented mindset.

Schedule

• Monday-Friday
• 8:00 AM-4:00 PM
• Occasional flexibility to stay later based on patient needs

• Background check required.
• No benefits offered at this time.
• Increased flexibility may be available upon permanent hire.
