Led by early Uber executives and recognized as an official Uber hiring partner, 8Fleet Inc. provides professional infrastructure for the transition to autonomous vehicles while optimizing current rideshare economics through full-time driver employment and vehicle management. Location San Francisco, USA Job Description As the San Francisco Market Manager, you will launch and scale 8Fleet Inc.’s operations in a critical new market. You’ll own the P&L, manage fleet growth, and lead driver operations from the ground up. This role combines high-level strategic planning with deep-dive execution, requiring a founder’s mindset to drive operational excellence and profitability. Why this role is remarkable Launch a flagship market from scratch with the autonomy of a founder and the backing of a proven operating model. Work directly with a leadership team of early Uber executives who possess deep expertise in scaling global rideshare operations. Earn meaningful equity in a growth-stage startup that is already an official Uber partner and positioned for the autonomous vehicle transition. What You Will Do Own the San Francisco P&L, managing all financial and operational metrics to maximize revenue, fleet utilization, and profit. Lead end-to-end fleet operations, including vehicle maintenance programs, driver scheduling, and the execution of safety and compliance audits. Partner with the growth team to recruit, onboard, and retain a high-performing driver base while fostering a supportive workplace culture. The ideal candidate Brings 2+ years of experience in operations management or business consulting with a proven track record of delivering against P&L goals. Has 2+ years of people management experience with the ability to lead diverse teams and a willingness to work on-site five days a week. Possesses a data-driven mindset and a BA/BS from a top-tier institution; an MBA or previous experience with Uber/Lyft is highly preferred. #J-18808-Ljbffr Jack & Jill
