Medical Receptionist

Job Description Job Description The Medical Receptionist supports the efficient operation of a small medical office by managing patient interactions, coordinating appointments, and handling administrative tasks. This role involves equal engagement with both patients and healthcare providers and reports directly to the Office Manager and doctors.

Responsibilities
Answer and manage incoming phone calls professionally
Take and relay messages accurately
Initiate and follow up on prior authorizations
Schedule and coordinate patient appointments
Check patients in and manage front desk activities
Provide excellent customer service to patients and staff

Preferred Qualifications
Minimum 1 year experience in a medical office setting
High school diploma or equivalent
