Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: Emergency Department Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 07:00-19:00 Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 2 years of Emergency Department experience License: Registered Nurse license Certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS, NIHSS Must-Have: Minimum 2 years of Emergency Department experience Team player with a positive attitude Engaged and open to collaboration Description: Approval to use Rapid Onboarding Checklist. ASAP start needed. Overall facility features include 294 beds and Joint Commission accreditation. Services provided include cancer care, cardiac care, orthopedics, imaging, surgical services, and more. Located 45 miles east of a major city and within 2 hours of the coast. Easily accessible to major universities and recreational areas. Emergency Department is equipped with 26 beds. Patient ratios are flexible based on acuity, typically 1:4-5. Experience with standard emergency department equipment is preferred. Electronic Health Record system in use is Meditech. Duties will involve managing a diverse patient population, including adults and pediatrics. Common diagnoses treated in this department include respiratory distress, overdose, congestive heart failure, dialysis issues, and hypertension.
