Job Title: Buyer Duration: 6 Months Shift: 8 AM – 5 PM Location: Hauppauge, NY Key Responsibilities: Manage the full procurement cycle: RFQs, POs, order tracking, expediting, and inventory control. Source and evaluate suppliers for quality, delivery, and cost efficiency. Negotiate pricing, contracts, and supplier agreements. Resolve shipment and quality issues; ensure on-time material availability. Support continuous improvement and cost-reduction initiatives. Qualifications: Bachelor’s in Business Administration or related field. Experience with aviation or manufacturing procurement preferred. Strong negotiation, supplier management, and MRP/ERP system skills.
