What You'll Do: As a Pastry Cook, you will be responsible for preparing high-quality baked goods, plated desserts, and pastries in alignment with M Street's standards. You'll work closely with the pastry leadership team to ensure consistency, cleanliness, and creativity in everything you do. Your Responsibilities Will Include: Prepare and execute pastry items including cakes, cookies, bread, and plated desserts Follow established recipes with precision and attention to detail Maintain cleanliness and organization of prep area and pastry station Properly label, store, and rotate ingredients and finished items Assist with daily pastry production and support special event prep as needed Ensure adherence to food safety and sanitation standards Collaborate with the pastry team to maintain a smooth and efficient workflow What We're Looking For: Prior experience in a bakery or pastry kitchen preferred Understanding of basic baking techniques and equipment A passion for quality and presentation Ability to follow directions and work independently or in a team Strong organizational skills and a sense of urgency Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods A positive attitude and growth mindset Why M Street?
