Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments and evaluations of clients, tailoring individualized therapy strategies to meet their specific needs.

• Deliver evidence-based therapeutic interventions to individuals, families, and groups, utilizing techniques such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and solution-focused brief therapy.

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date clinical records in compliance with legal and ethical standards while following best practices in documentation.

• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to enhance client care, engaging with psychiatrists, social workers, and other healthcare professionals as needed.

• Actively participate in ongoing professional development through workshops and training, keeping abreast of the latest advancements in mental health research and practices.

• Support clients through crisis interventions and develop comprehensive treatment plans that help them achieve their therapeutic goals.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

At Caring Mind Psychiatry Clinic, you will serve a diverse client base, focusing on individuals and families who often face barriers to accessing essential mental health care. You will engage with clients dealing with various mental health issues, from anxiety and depression to trauma and substance abuse, and help guide them towards recovery and resilience.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a closely related field is required.

• An active and unrestricted license as a Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of Texas is mandatory.

• A minimum of two years of experience in a counseling role, preferably within a clinical context.

• Demonstrated ability to work effectively with diverse populations and establish rapport with clients from various backgrounds.

• Strong knowledge of legal and ethical standards in the counseling profession.

• Proficiency in using EMR software and related technologies to manage client documentation.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The salary range for this position is competitive, between USD 70,000 and 90,000 annually, dependent on experience and caseload availability. Additionally, we offer a comprehensive benefits package that includes dental, vision, and health insurance, along with malpractice insurance coverage. You will also receive support with billing and documentation to help reduce your administrative load, allowing you to focus more on client care.
