This contract position offers a fulfilling opportunity for certified Speech-Language Pathologists (SLP-CCC) with school-based experience to make a real impact. As a full-time, full school year SLP, you will take on an engaging supervisory role, guiding SLPAs on an elementary campus and working with diverse caseloads of 70-80 students. The position is most likely itinerant, providing variety as you rotate between campuses.

Required Experience and Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
• Active Certificate of Clinical Competence (SLP-CCC)
• Valid state licensure for practice in Texas
• Previous experience in school-based settings, especially at the elementary level
• Ability to supervise SLPAs with professionalism and supportive leadership
• Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
• Background in serving culturally and linguistically diverse student populations
• Itinerant flexibility—adapt to multiple school environments

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide assessment, diagnosis, and direct therapy for students with speech, language, and communication needs
• Supervise and mentor SLPAs, ensuring compliance with district and professional standards
• Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
• Collaborate with educators, families, and support staff to maximize student success
• Maintain accurate records and comprehensive documentation
• Attend meetings and provide input on student progress as needed
