Accounts Payable Specialist

LHH Recruitment Solutions is partnering with a growing organization in the Sacramento area to hire an experienced Accounts Payable Specialist. This is a great opportunity to join a collaborative team where accuracy, organization, and process improvement are highly valued. This is direct hire and onsite daily in Rancho Cordova, CA.
What You'll Do

• Manage high-volume invoice processing, ensuring timely and accurate entry into the system
• Oversee the AP inbox, prioritizing and responding to vendor and internal requests
• Review invoices for proper coding, approvals, and alignment with company policies using NetSuite
• Process employee expense reports and company credit card transactions, resolving discrepancies as needed
• Analyze freight billing and research variances to ensure accurate charges
• Execute weekly payment runs in accordance with vendor terms and discount opportunities
• Perform account reconciliations and resolve outstanding vendor issues
• Maintain vendor records, including W-9 documentation and compliance support
• Partner cross-functionally to address inquiries and support financial operations
• Keep financial documentation organized and audit-ready

Qualifications

• Completion of a two-year degree required; four-year degree is a plus
• Minimum of three years working within Accounts Payable or a similar accounting function
• Prior experience using NetSuite or comparable ERP platforms preferred
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, including Excel
• Demonstrated ability to stay organized, analyze information, and communicate effectively
