Fund Controller

The Fund Controller will oversee accounting and financial reporting for a private credit fund and related investment vehicles. The role will work closely with the investment, operations, tax, and finance teams to ensure accurate NAV, financial statements, investor reporting, and fund-level accounting. Key Responsibilities Oversee fund accounting, NAV, and monthly/quarterly close processes. Review accounting for loans, interest income, fees, PIK interest, repayments, and investment activity. Oversee management fees, fund expenses, capital activity, and investor allocations. Coordinate quarterly and annual financial statements and external audits. Manage relationships with fund administrators, auditors, and tax advisors. Partner with the investment team on portfolio activity, valuations, restructurings, and new investments. Maintain strong financial controls and compliance with fund documents and U.S. GAAP. Support investor reporting and ad hoc financial analysis. Lead and develop fund accounting staff and improve fund finance processes. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA preferred. 7–10+ years of fund accounting or alternative investment experience. Private credit, private equity, or hedge fund experience strongly preferred. Strong knowledge of fund accounting, NAV, U.S. GAAP, and partnership structures. Understanding of private credit investments and loan accounting. Strong attention to detail, analytical skills, and ability to work with senior investment professionals. #J-18808-Ljbffr Atlas Search
