Print Production Specialist

Position Variable Data Specialist and XMPie Programmer at Latcha Latcha is looking for a Variable Data Specialist to lead our direct mail production. The ideal candidate is a self-starter with an upbeat and positive attitude and strong organizational skills with extensive experience with Xerox XMPie as well as Adobe InDesign for variable data printing software. They will be able to work in high pressure situations and problem solve while maintaining professional standards of conduct and ethics. Compensation Base pay range: $55,000.00/yr - $85,000.00/yr Position summary Prepare client provided or purchased data for mailings or Variable Data Printing pieces using mailing software to update address and remove undeliverable and duplicate destinations. Oversee data integrity on final pieces ensuring proper formatting and laid out according to USPS specifications. Key skills are XMPie, Adobe InDesign, programming, database knowledge (SQL), and web design (HTML/CSS). Responsibilities Personalized Campaign Development: Create and manage data-driven print and digital marketing materials that are personalized for specific audiences using XMPie’s platform. Setup variable data areas to merge design and data together using XMPie VDP software. Establish a standard data structure to expedite the setup process by utilizing prebuilt VDP templates. Meet with the Design team regularly to make changes to designs to streamline the PrePress processes. Implement and monitor workflow from graphic production, data integration and print production Demonstrate excellent time management, as well as oral and written interpersonal skills Serve as a point of contact between Graphics, platform and Director of Print Production Collaborate with project management teams to ensure direct mail specifications, formats, and deadlines are met QA creative and campaign setup for functionality and adherence to technical specifications Troubleshoot and resolve delivery, tracking, and performance issues in real-time Provide internal stakeholders with production reports, error logs, and process improvement suggestions. Create clear SOPs, data mapping documents, and production guides to standardize processes and accelerate onboarding of new team members. Qualifications 3-5 years of Graphic production with variable data responsibilities in producing direct mail. Variable data set up through XMPie for digital printing.
