Transportation Coordinator

Responsibilities Coordinate logistics and communication between plant operations, sales, and field teams to ensure smooth transportation workflows. Monitor driver activity and compliance using tools like Nextraq, ensuring adherence to DOT regulations and safety standards. Oversee vehicle maintenance and inspections, scheduling service and ensuring roadworthiness, cleanliness, and proper operation. Ensure manifest and order accuracy, reviewing load sheets and smart container quality to meet customer requirements. Analyze route efficiency to optimize cost savings and support continuous improvement in logistics processes. Support driver communication and training, preparing memos and assisting with health and safety compliance. Assist with logistics projects and administrative tasks, including vendor/customer communication and process implementation.
