Finance & Accounting Associate

Strategic Growth Partners provides both operations & strategic support to tribal 8(a) & commercial organizations. Our client is seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Finance & Accounting Associate to support the company’s accounting operations, financial reporting, and business finance processes. This position requires the person to be in the Redwood City office 3 days a week. Workplace Type: Full-time, On-site, Redwood City, CA. Compensation: $80K–$95K per year. Accounting & Financial Operations (Primary Focus): Manage day-to-day accounting activities, including journal entries and reconciliations. Assist with monthly, quarterly, and year-end close processes. Prepare financial reports and supporting schedules. Coordinate accounts payable and vendor payments. Support financial statement preparation in accordance with U.S. GAAP. Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis. Support audits and maintain audit-ready documentation.

Accounts Receivable & Business Coordination: Coordinate with sales and finance teams for timely collections. Monitor overdue invoices and resolve billing discrepancies. Maintain accurate customer account records.

Administrative & Cross-Functional Support: Support finance leadership with reporting and operational coordination. Assist with presentations and internal communications. Coordinate with auditors, vendors, and service providers.
