Junior Account Executive

RCN Capital is a national, direct, private lender with an office located in Charlotte, NC. We're seeking a Junior Account Executive in the Charlotte Metro area to launch their career in real estate finance. In this role, you'll connect with brokers and borrowers to understand their goals, match them with the right loan program, and guide them through qualification. RCN Capital works with commercial mortgages backed by residential properties and provides a full range of asset-backed, short- and long-term loans from $70K to $2M.

What You'll Have:

• A book of business you'll build and own, identifying new customers for real estate, asset-based loans that fit our lending criteria
• A steady stream of warm leads generated through RCN Capital's marketing program to follow up on
• Ownership of the loan process from origination through processing and underwriting
• A trusted-advisor relationship with your clients, serving as their point of contact for servicing after closing
• The analytical skills to review financial and credit data, assess client needs, and recommend the right program
• Deep, expert-level knowledge of RCN's full product suite, and the ability to communicate it clearly and confidently
• Training, development, and mentorship from the best in the business!

What You'll Bring:

• A home base in the Charlotte Metro area (in-office)
• Strong communication skills in person, over the phone, and through email
• A self-starter mindset with the ability to work independently and meet deadlines
• Comfort with MS Office, specifically Outlook, Word, and Excel
• The drive and organization to grow into managing a 3050 loan pipeline
• Willingness to attend conferences and trade shows to represent RCN Capital
• A passion for sales and relationship-building; prior professional sales experience is a plus, but not required
• Bonus: any exposure to construction-based lending, real estate, hard money, or private lending, or financial services
• Bonus: bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish

Education:

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree, or equivalent, in Business, Finance, or a related field preferred
• Experience may be considered in lieu of formal education

Work Schedule:

• Full time
• MondayFriday, 9AM to 6PM
• Position will be onsite FT
