Travel RN - Cath Lab/EPAmerican TravelerAnchorage, Alaska, United StatesPosition ID: P-761631Position status: OpenAssignment type: travelShift: DaysLength (weeks): 26Openings: 1Start date: 2026-10-26$3,090.20/week (estimated advertised weekly pay)American Traveler is hiring a Cath Lab RN with at least 2 years of experience and an active AK RN license for a Level II Trauma acute care hospital.Work in the Cath Lab department of an acute care hospitalMay float within scope to EP or IR unitsDay shift schedule: 4x10 hours, 7:00 AM to 5:00 PMOn-call required 1 day per week plus every 4th/5th weekend (Friday 1800 to Monday 0730)Approximately 1 Saturday per month as part of scheduled shiftsUses Epic charting systemActive AK RN license required in hand for considerationBLS and ACLS certifications requiredMinimum 2 years of Cath Lab RN experience requiredEpic EMR experience requiredSkilled in procedures such as ACT, circulate procedures, sheath removal/monitoring, interpretation of dysrhythmias, and monitoring procedural sedationExperience with cardiac cath lab procedures including left/right heart catheterization, PCI, IABP placement/removal, and interventional catheterizationsKnowledge of emergency medications, antiarrhythmics, antihypertensives, IV vasopressors, and thrombolytics2 supervisory references covering 1 year of employment within the last 3 years in a comparable specialty/settingFull SSN and DOB required for considerationProvide direct patient care in a Magnet-designated, Level II Trauma acute care hospital recognized as a top hospital in AlaskaScrubs provided by facilityFree parking availableFirst-time travelers acceptedCandidates must reside at least 50 miles from the facility to be considered; local candidates not acceptedFormer permanent staff must wait at least 3 months before returning as a traveler and cannot reside within 50 miles of the facilityOnly 1 time off request permitted per 13-week assignment, approved individually upon offerMust commit to working 3 of 5 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day)May be required to float between sister facilities near the contracted locationHours per week: 40Hours per shift: 10
