Project Manager – Full Time – MN01, Chanhassen, MN, US 2 days ago Requisition ID: 1984 At The Bernard Group, a 100% employee‑owned visual merchandising company, we lead the retail industry in design and production using sustainable materials. We are looking for a Project Manager to work closely with sales staff to plan, execute, and finalize projects on strict deadlines and within budget. Shift Shift available: Monday through Friday 8:00 am – 5:00 pm, with a minimum of 3 days in the office. Responsibilities Direct and manage projects from beginning to end while working with the AE, AM, and/or Senior Project Manager to define print and fixture project scope, goals, deliverables, resources needed, timeline, milestones, and project costs. Gather costs for estimating purposes based on client expectations for the final deliverable and the knowledge of material and labor costs required to meet those expectations. Identify and manage project dependencies while proactively planning for workback schedules, domestic and international delivery and installation wait times, and coordination between outsourced and in‑house resources. Communicate project deliverables and timeline to department managers following established TBG protocol and processes. Contact and negotiate with contractors and freelancers, ensuring all outside resources have a current, signed NDA and that costs remain within budget. Produce projects using TBG’s systems (Pace) and follow established processes by staying current on job orders with ticket numbers and a complete collection of files, art, and data/distribution. Communicate data and other support information by e‑mail and use established project management tools to keep teammates aware of project status in real time. Understand client brand and design requirements, ensuring teams comply with quality expectations and tolerances. Track project milestones and deliverables with internal and external resources, ensuring projects are on track for shipping on time and on budget while proactively managing scope changes. Collect and document all expenses and prepare invoice information for submission to Accounts Payable per established TBG processes. Perform miscellaneous projects and complete various tasks as requested by Management. Qualifications A Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field or equivalent work experience. More than 3 years of related experience in project management. Minimum of 2 years of related experience in print, large and small format print, digital print, merchandising fixture production, and/or the retail industry. Experience working in a TPOP (temporary point of purchase) environment with corrugated displays. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written. Strong written and verbal communication skills and effective listening skills. Ability to present ideas and thoughts concisely and effectively. Willingness to admit mistakes and a willingness to learn. Fierce loyalty to customers and team. Trustworthy, reliable, and easy to get along with. Enthusiastic and eager to take on new challenges.
