Branch ManagerThe Branch Manager leads the day-to-day operations of a RTE facility, which includes overseeing people, safety, quality, production and driving financial success. This role has regular interaction with Materials, Production Scheduling, Estimating, Finance, Engineering, Human Resources, Sales and Customers.Direct and manage Branch operations for safety, quality, delivery, production, maintenance, shipping and receivingTrack operational metrics to support continuous improvement in the facility, including, but not limited to the areas of safety, quality, delivery, material cost, inventory dollars, labor productivity and employee moraleManage Branch P&L ensuring profitability month over monthAchieve financial goals by implementing effective systems for capital expenditures, operating expenditures and overheadManage production and shipment schedules to meet customer due datesImplement/manage visual management initiativesEnsure all company-wide programs, initiatives, policies and procedures are implemented and maintained and that required expectations are metFacilitate training to accomplish the company goals and objectivesManage and assist in the development of hourly and salary team membersInterface with sales to provide customer focused solutionsMaintain current customers and suggest new customer targets within local/regional jurisdictionOther duties as assignedResponsibility for one or more cost center; plus responsibility for profit & loss statement with revenues $10 MM - $30 MMBachelor's Degree in a related field (Business, Industrial Systems, Manufacturing) is preferredFive (5) years of management experience is requiredTen (10) years of experience in a customized operations setting such as truck equipment or up-fit industry, or similar experienceWell-versed in implementation of Lean Manufacturing and 5SComputer skills in Microsoft Office; Excel skills should be intermediate to advancedDemonstrated skills in database management and record keeping preferredComfortable reading, interpreting and understanding financial statements, such as profit & loss statements and balance sheetsDemonstrated problem solving, decision making, process, and critical thinking skillsStrategically minded, tactically adeptStrong analytical skills and financial acumenExcellent Customer service skills and the ability to engage customers and suppliers in a professional mannerExcellent written and oral communication skills; as well as excellent interpersonal skillsExcellent organizational skillsAble to conduct employee training on topics such as safety, technical skills, products, etc.The ability to collaborate with a multi-department teamSupervisory responsibility for respective Branch Team MembersWork occurs in office, as well as shop facilitySedentary work with extended periods of computer useRegular work in warehouse/up-fitting shopMust be able to wear required Personal Protective equipment (PPE)Minimal (10%-15%)J.B.
