Senior Human Resources Manager

Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and hands-on Senior HR Manager to lead and strengthen core HR operations within a fast-paced, growing organization. This role is responsible for driving HR infrastructure, compliance, employee relations, leadership support, performance management, and organizational development initiatives.
The ideal candidate is operationally strong, highly organized, emotionally mature, and capable of balancing strategic priorities with day-to-day execution. This position requires strong partnership with leadership while maintaining a visible and trusted presence across the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
HR Leadership & Operations
- Lead day-to-day HR operations and support organizational growth initiatives.
- Build and improve scalable HR processes, systems, workflows, and documentation.
- Oversee policy development, handbook updates, and HR procedure implementation.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
- Support workforce planning, organizational structure, and operational HR needs.
Employee Relations & Performance Management
- Lead employee relations matters, investigations, conflict resolution, and documentation.
- Partner with managers on coaching, corrective action, performance concerns, and employee engagement.
- Oversee performance review processes and leadership accountability initiatives.
- Help strengthen management effectiveness through practical coaching and leadership support.
Training & Organizational Development
- Design and deliver training related to leadership development, communication, compliance, and workplace effectiveness.
- Support initiatives that reinforce organizational culture, accountability, and employee development.
- Identify opportunities to improve employee experience, engagement, and retention.
HR Systems, Compensation & Benefits
- Maintain HR data integrity and support reporting and workforce analytics.
- Assist with compensation benchmarking and HR recommendations.
- Support benefits administration, vendor coordination, and annual enrollment processes.
- Oversee payroll administration and related compliance activities.
Team Leadership
- Supervise and mentor HR staff, including prioritization, professional development, and execution support.
- Foster collaborative and trusted working relationships across all levels of the organization.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field required.
- HR certification preferred (PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP, or SHRM-SCP).
- 8+ years of progressive HR experience, including strong operational and employee relations experience.
- Strong knowledge of U.S. employment law and HR best practices.
- Experience building or improving HR systems, processes, and infrastructure.
- Demonstrated success supporting leaders in fast-paced or high-growth environments.
- Strong judgment, professionalism, discretion, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication, organization, and follow-through abilities.
- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining high attention to detail.
- Prior experience supervising or developing HR team members preferred.
- Experience supporting multinational or globally distributed organizations is a plus.
- Ability to work across time zones and travel occasionally as needed.
- Calm and steady under pressure with the ability to navigate challenges professionally.
- Highly collaborative with strong relationship-building capabilities across all levels of the organization.
- Strong critical thinking and decision-making abilities with a practical, solutions-oriented mindset.
- Adaptable and comfortable operating in environments requiring agility, accountability, and continuous change.
